These are the band's events for the year and directions to all functions, parades and competitions.
Band Members: Jackets are not required starting on Memorial Day weekend until October 1st except for special occasions and events. However, we will be wearing the the vests.

| May 25, 2024 Saturday Typically the Saturday before Memorial Day. | 8:45 AM | Morris Plains Memorial Day Parade at 9:30 Memorial Service at 9:00. We do not play at the service. Do not play pipes or drums at 9:00 during the service | Trinity Lutheran Church | Muster at the Trinity Lutheran church parking lot at 131 Mountain Way, Morris Plains. The parade ends at the local VFW at 45 Tabor Rd, Morris Plains). You are invited for beverages and hot dogs after the parade at the VFW. Try to park near the train station across from Arthur’s Steak House or anywhere in the area. Once you park, walk back along Speedwell Ave and you will find a cut through to Mountain Way which runs parallel with Speedwell Ave or walk down Franklin and turn right on to Mountain Way. The parade is 1 mile long. |

Parade at 1:00 PM | Blairstown NJ | Parade Announcement | Take Rte 80 west to the Blairstown exit #12 and bear right an the end of the exit then follow the road into town which puts you on Rte 94. Make a left and follow that down about two miles to the cemetery/ parking lot area. (For GPS: Tractor Supply 128 NJ-94, Blairstown, NJ 07825). After the service we go back to the parking lot for a break and parade step off. You can park at the beginning or end of the parade, we try to have cars at both ends and shuttle players back and forth. At the end there are refreshments for everyone. The parade is 1.3 miles long. |

This is a nice venue with the competition, festival, and horse racing. There are things to do even if you are not competing. Parking: Pass the track and proceed to Port Au Peck Ave where there is a gate that is near where all the bands set up. If you cannot get in, you will have to park in the lot behind the miniature golf course. The venue is 69 miles from our rehearsal location (about 1.5 hours). |
